Viola Davis explains why there’s a long way to go to eliminate racism

„I’m dark, I’m 53, I’m in my natural hair – I’m in bed with Liam Neeson. And he’s not my slave owner. I’m not a prostitute. We simply are a couple in love. I’ve never seen it before.“

Viola Davis loves that her film ‘Widows’ portrays women with all the gritty bits left in, saying that actors shouldn’t go into a role judging their character. Although she was thrilled to work with Liam Neeson, he wasn’t her favourite co-star on that film, instead falling in love with a four-legged friend.
